Schonfeld/Yudichak Family Scholarship.
She will be attending Delaware Valley College.

Sarah Whitkowski receives a combined scholarship
|

A Scholarship certificate was awarded to
Sarah Whitkowski, a graduating senior at Greater Nanticoke Area
High School. She received a combined scholarship from the Yudichak
Family Lighthouse Fund and the Schonfeld Family Fund.

Team Marty's & Yudichak Lighthouse Fund Award Scholarships

The 2003 scholarship
award recipients include: Jennifer Zatorski of Nanticoke, April Sakowski
of Crestwood, Amy Kane of Hanover Area, Erica Mirigliani of Meyers,
and Jesse Costello of Wyoming Valley West.
Team Marty's Club was founded by Jim Schonfeld, Ben Schonfeld, Chris
Bums, Chris Bums, Jr., Terri Paul and Rob Anthony. The Club hosts an
annual open bass tournament to raise funds for their youth scholarship
and other civic projects.
The Yudichak Family Lighthouse Fund was created by State Representative
John Yudichak in honor of his parents, Joseph & Sarah, and his six
siblings. Rep. Yudichak hosts an annual reception to raise money for
local libraries and youth organizations.

Jesse Costello
Will be attending West Virginia University this fall and
majoring in Wildlife and Fisheries Resources. Besides baseball,
all of his spare time is dedicated to the outdoors.

Amy Kane
Is going to Kutztown University in the fall to major in
Marine Biology. Outside of school she was on the varsity swim
team and has been an accredited Irish Dancer for 13 years.

Jennifer Zatorski
Will be attending Duquesne University
to earn a Master's degree in forensic science and law.
In high school she was the Science Club president and attended
the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Sciences
